Fans of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things received good news today. Netflix announced in a press release that Stranger Things 2 will premiere on Netflix on Oct. 27, 2017. The season will consist of nine episodes and the date is a little earlier than some fans expected. During the Super Bowl, Netflix aired the trailer with the announcement the series would return on Halloween. All episodes will be available on the 27th which is a Friday, so we can expect a lot of people will binge watch the series the weekend before Halloween. It has been nominated for several Golden Globe Awards, People’s Choice Awards, and is a contender for the 2017 Emmys.
